ชักโครก toilet (with flush mechanism) *often used to refer to the tank or device as a whole rather than just the bowl
ค้าง – stay; hold (down); be leftover
ไว้ – keep (doing something); d0 something (for later)
สักครุ่ – a moment
ชำรุด my ass. That thing is just plain หาย.
ชำรุด – broken down; not working; busted
It tends to be used on signs saying stuff like “don’t use this ประตู cause it’s ชำรุด”
It’s a good thing they had that sign up else I may have เยี่ยว‘d all over the wall.

As I was getting in my elevator the other day I noticed someone posted this complaint on the bulletin board. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that this was written by a ฝรั่ง. Can anyone point out any of the clues that led me to think this?

The bottom wall of the garbage chute in my building พัง’d last week and so after letting the garbage pile up around the bottom of the chute for a few days somebody had the great ไอเดีย to tell people to stop dumping garbage down the thing until it was ซ่อม’d. It was pretty ขยะแขยง.

Yesterday, I was eating at the restaurant across from my building and the ยาม dude was “cleaning up” all the garbage, but rather than dump it into the busted plastic dumpsters right next to him, he proceeded to throw ALL of the garbage over the wall into the empty plot of land next to my building.
For these controlled cosmetics, please pay at cashier no. 1 & 2 suddenly.

หาม should be ห้าม as in “No vehicles of any kind beyond this point.”
หาม is like แบก -
Without the tone mark its something along the lines of ”All vehicles beyond this point are to be carried on (your) back.”
