    Okay, there’s this part which kinda threw me off.

    พอดีกับตอนนั้นป้า พอลล่า อับดุล กำลังจะมาเปิดคอนเสิร์ตที่เมืองไทย เลยคิดว่า
    ถ้าขนาดว่า มีคนเอาป้ามาเล่นคอนเสิร์ตได้ ป้าคงดังพอสมควร

    Why does he refer to Paula Abdul with ป้า? Or am I mixing up that Paula Abdul’s aunt is coming to stage a concert?

    Yes he is referring to her as ป้า.

    It is a way to address a woman who is (usually much) older than you. It can be rather affectionate.
